Human Growth Hormone Supplements

Human growth hormones or hgh is a naturally occurring process from the pituitary gland in the brain.  The process begins when we are born and continues until we’re in our mid-20s when the pituitary gland stops producing as much human growth hormone.  This is because we are finished growing and the only hgh needed is for continued tissue growth and to keep vital organs alive and working well.  Vital organs, such as lungs and kidneys, need the hgh to survive.

Many older adults seek help from hgh supplements in order to feel youthful again.  Hgh supplements, such as pills or spray forms, can help to increase the libido, used as a natural antidepressant, used to combat fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue pain.  In addition, the hgh helps with moderating menopausal effects, strengthening a compromised immune system, increasing bone density, and helping with permanent weight loss.

However there are just as many hgh side effects as there are helpful hgh effects.  Before beginning an hgh regimen, one must weigh the pros and cons, the side effects against the benefits and decide for yourself if it is worth it.  Some of the side effects of hgh include high blood pressure, insulin resistance, which can lead to diabetes and other chronic disease, joint pains and corporal tunnel disease.  Many older people and athletes believe that the side effects are worth the benefits because they are chasing the dream of youthfulness or of being the best athlete.  However, athletes must be aware that hgh is illegal in many competitions because it is considered a drug, even though it naturally occurs in the body.  High levels of hgh have been found in Olympic athletes and bicyclists from the Tour de France because it helps with endurance.
